Can i sue the company i work for negligence after receiving compensation for the injury?

I sustained an injury to my hand which resulted in a partial amputation of my little finger. I have been to a solicitor and have been offered 6k in compensation(which i ume is from the companies insurer) for my injury i was wondering if i could also sue the actual company i work for for negligence as they have admitted liability and they were clearly at fault. Making me hold a spinning shaft to do up bolts(an injury waiting to happen).
