Have you been to Iraq?

In was there in March 2003, so if you were there too, then you know what was going on. I just came back from there, for the second time. Things have changed so much and there's a lot to reconcile. I even visited some of the places that I had to search through. Some of the places that stood out in nightmares were as tame as housecats. People in shorts, drinking greenbeans coffee, Iraqis walking about, unafraid. A lot of people talk, but few have seen. I can now say Goodbye, Baghdad. Were you there? Have you been able to say goodbye?
