How to destone / prepare / freeze cherries, ideas needed please?

my cherry tree has produced lots of tiny cherries. The idea of cutting them all open to remove the stones seems tedious but i don't want to waste the fruit. can someone suggest ways or recipes that will de-stone the cherries routinely in the process without having to tackle each cherry individually. and how long can i keep them in the freezer, till my tree has produced enough to make jam for instance
