Expensive Dental work?

I just had $5000 worth of dental work done to my teeth. I am paying for it all myself with no help from anyone except a little bit that Delta Dental paid. They didnt go bankrupt by helping me, I'm sure. Now I have a great smile. Straight, white smile, improved my appearance greatly, improved my self esteem and after 3 root cs and two extractions, I have healthy teeth and no pain from infectious gums. The problem is, my BF keeps nagging me about the cost. To me it was worth it. These are the only teeth I have and I dont want dentures. What do I say to him to make him stop nagging me about the cost of my dental work? I am so sick of hearing about it day after day. He nags about money anyways if it is something to benefit me. If it is somethig he wants or it benefits him, he doesnt nag. Any ideas?
