Was Your High School Graduation Sad?

I'm 21, graduated in 2008, and was just reminiscing over my graduation day, on that June 4th. My sister is graduating this June, so it brought back some memories. I remember being very anxious that day. Most of my entire life - the last 13 years was about to change. I wasn't popular in high school, and hated being there a lot of days, but just being around the few friends i had everyday made the days a bit better. So, while i was happy to see the next stage in my life, I have to say that my high school graduation day was also one of the most depressing days of my life. Especially after graduation, my school had an all night party lock in event, and a lot of kids were leaving after that. I think the lock in lasted till 6 am in the morning, and by that time, everyone was so half sleep, and out of it, that it made the emotions a lot stronger. Everyone was hugging, and saying goodbye. Some of them I never saw again :( A lot of them i see every 6 months or so, or see on facebook, but it's sad knowing that just years ago, i was at school hanging with my friends , and now a lot of them are gone :( I know a lot of kids want to leave high school, but i miss those days...
