Is it normal to be afraid of scary kids? (emos, goths, ect.)?

All right Me & 2 other friends were going downtown two days ago to go skate and scooter. When we reach the library, I look to they left and let out a big (wtf!). There was at least 60 of them there. So we decide to walk away and I then see that whole damned town is filled with um. I ask some kid who was skating who looked like a bit like me (blue jeans, t-shirt, skate shoes, flannel) "Is it always like this? cuz its scaring the crap out of me!" Kid said "only on wednesdays, I know I hate it too." So I don't go there anymore on wednesdays... But being in 7th grade 5 foot 11 inch and 170 pounds (muscular). Is it kind of weird to not be afraid of anything except for people who like they've crawled out a horror movie!?!?!?!
