Question about Objective Correlative?? :)?

Could any one explain what objective correlative is? or just tell me what chapter its in in How to Read a Novel Like a College Professor by Foster? Thanks a ton! and if you happened to have read the Death of Ivan Ilych, whats an example of objective correlative in that book? :)) thank you in advance!
