What do I say to my 3 year old son who wants to know who his dad is?

Tell your son that his dad is in the UK for some office work and he will give us a surprise and get loads of toys for you only if you promise me not to ask about him again and again.whenever you are going out on a date,you just need to tell "Hey,We are going to meet my friend first,then we will go to meet your friends if u like,but remember he is our friend and not your dad as your dad is in the UK"
