Call of Duty: Black Ops - Prestigeing in wager matches?

I wanted to prestige and i had 100,000 Cod points so i went into a High roller and prestiged, there were a group of people in the lobby saying that that was cheating and that they were going to Report me for cheating. Is this cheating? and what happens if it is cheating? will i be banned or suspended for a while?
